Another solid week of play for the Lion baseball team

 The third ranked (3A) Lions are expected to move up in the rankings this week. The defending State champs are 5-0 in the North Central Conference and 14-2 overall following another solid week of play.

CL softball team picks up first win of season

The Clear Lake girls capped a busy week with their first win of the season.  

“Overall, the girls are improving and continuing to work hard,” said Coach Megan Young.  “These girls are learning and improving every single game and we still have very high expectations from the girls. The girls are rising to the challenges presented to them.”

Lions roar at State Soccer

  The Clear Lake boys soccer team earned a third place finish at the Class 1A State Soccer Tournament which concluded Tuesday, June 10, at the Cownie Soccer complex in Des Moines. 

Girls finish third at State; Snelling earns runner-up honors

 Clear Lake freshman Emily Snelling finished as the Class 3A runner-up and helped her team to a third place finish at the State Meet played at Ames June 2-3.
