                                                                                                                                McCready new manager

                                                                                                                                	 Jarod McCready has been hired as the new manager at                              JAROD MCCREADY
                                                                                                                                Payless Foods, 20 S. 4th St., Clear Lake.
                                                                                                                                	 McCready was born in Marshalltown, Iowa and grad-
                                                                                                                                uated from East Marshall High School, in LeGrand, Iowa.
                                                                                                                                He began working in grocery retail at the age of 15 and
                                                                                                                                spent the next 16 years working for Hy-Vee in a number of
                                                                                                                                positions all over the state. He has worked for Payless Foods
                                                                                                                                since 2014 and moved to Clear Lake from Grundy Center,
                                                                                                                                Iowa. McCready has two sons, ages eight and six.
                                                                                                                                	 “I am excited to be given the opportunity to helm the
                                                                                                                                Payless in Clear Lake,” said McCready. “The store has seri-
                                                                                                                                ous potential for growth. My focus is in improving custom-
                                                                                                                                er relations and community involvement. I look forward to
