    Anna M. Hill, 86, 20 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at her son’s home in Waukee, Iowa.
    A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 21, at the Clear Lake United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rhoda Preston officiating. Interment will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to the Anna M. Hill Memorial Fund.

Norman J. “Bill” Ballantyne, 91, of Clear Lake, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014, with his family by his side at the Oakwood Care Center, Clear Lake.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with Rev. Dennis Ganz officiating.  Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.  Family will greet friends one hour before the service.  The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

 Dorothy Ann Wenzel, 83, 126 N. 14th St., Clear Lake, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.
 A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26 at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, with Rev. Kirk Wilke officiating. Graveside services were held on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Maplewood Cemetery, Luverne, Minn., with Rev. Mark Mumme, of Zion Lutheran Church, Hardwick, Minn. officiating.

 Irvin Dale “Irv” Van Haaften went to dwell in the House of the Lord on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Muse-Norris Hospice House in Mason City, surrounded by his family. A gathering of friends was held at the Zion Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, on June 26, 2014. The celebration of his life followed on Saturday morning at the church.
