The American flag towered over Lions Field as the Homecoming football game was played Sept. 11.

Head Football Coach Jared DeVries got the crowd fired up during a community pep rally at City Park just before Friday’s
games.
Former Clear Lake High School educator Beth Ann Schumacher received a standing ovation as she was
introduced as the guest speaker at Friday’s pep rally and coronation.
Seniors captured the trophy for their strong showing in competitions held throughout Homecoming Week.
