Volleyball camps set at Clear Lake

Volleyball camps are quickly approaching at Clear Lake. A camp for Middle the 2A Central District First Team
School (6th-8th grade) will be held on Aug. 4, from 8 a.m.-noon. Cost of the
camp is $25. A camp for high school students (9th-12th grade) will be held Aug.
5-7, from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $40. An elementary camp (5th grade and
under) will be held Aug. 5-7, from noon-1 p.m. This camp is free. Forms are
available at the high school office or will be accepted (with payment) on the first
day of camp. Camp cost also includes a camp T-shirt. High School fall practice
begins on Aug. 10.
CL Booster Club to hold golf outing
The 2015 Clear Lake Booster Club Golf Outing will be held on Sunday,
Aug. 9, at Veteran's Memorial Golf Course, 2000 N. Shore Dr., Clear Lake.
Registration will be held from 2-2:45 p.m. with a shotgun start at 3 p.m. This is
a 4-Person Best Shot - 9 Hole Tournament. There will be a division for men and
women (must be 21 or older). This event will kick off the 2015-16 school year.
The cost for green fees and dinner is $50 per person. Dinner only is $20 per
person. To reserve a golf cart call 357-4457. Dinner will follow the tournament
and the awards presentation and door prizes will be held at 7:30 p.m.
