Schwarz continues pottery
tradition with new exhibit
Since the 1960s, Dean Schwarz
has been primarily known as an in-
novative ceramic artist, whose output
is prolific. His work is represented in
numerous private collections, and in
the holdings of museums (including
the Charles H. MacNider Art Muse-
um) and universities throughout the

Holly Rockumentary,” is Paul Mc-
Cartney’s video biography of rock ‘n
roll legend Buddy Holly. Produced
and hosted by Paul McCartney.
Additional movies will be shown
on Saturday, Feb. 6, sponsored by The
Surf Ballroom.
“The Buddy Holly Story,” with
Oscar-nominated actor Gary Busey
will be shown at 10 a.m. and La Bam-
ba at 12:30 p.m.

Council Member John Quintus announced intentions to have a firefighter fund-
raising event on Labor Day weekend. The proceeds would go towards funding fire
department equipment.
Council Member Avery inquired about the status of 111 North Main Street regard-
ing water service.
