Merle Lloyd Mikkelson, 96, died Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the Westview Care Center, Britt, Iowa.  Formally a resident of Mason City in the same house for over 60 years, the last year was spent at Glen Oaks in Clear Lake.

A viewing will be held Thursday, March 16, from 4-6 p.m. at Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 310 1st Ave. North, Clear Lake.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 17, at Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Art Zewert officiating.  Inurnment will be held at a later date in Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City.  Military honors will be conducted by Mason City Veterans Association.

Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
