Phomma Lo
Phomma Lo, 61, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, Mason City, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with the
Rev. Dr. Pat Hall officiating of Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Following the service he will be cremated and inurnment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.
Phomma was born in Laos, the son of Chan Sang and Nang La. He served in the Laos National Army. He later lived in Argentina and then moved to Clear Lake in 1994. He worked for I.M.T., Garner, Iowa.
He enjoyed fishing and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sivilay Lo, Clear Lake; four children, Chan Lovan, Des Moines, Iowa, Francisco Lovan, Dallas, Texas, Marcos Lovan, Clear Lake, and Brandon Lovan, Clear Lake; and his four grandchildren, Peytan Lovan, Laurynn Lovan, Evelyn Lovan and Mila Lovan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
