Clear Lake man killed in truck roll-over

A Clear Lake man was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Humboldt County Wednesday, Dec. 17.  

The Iowa State Patrol reported that 39-year-old Richard Goscinski was eastbound on County Road C-20, east of Livermore, Iowa when he apparently lost control of his Yohn truck while negotiating a curve.  The vehicle rolled into the northwest ditch. 

Goscinski was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The victim was wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident, which happened at about 1:50 p.m. Wednesday.  The roadway was dry at the time of the accident, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
