Craig A. Spear

Craig Spear, 61, passed away Dec. 8, 2014 at Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City, Iowa.  Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 12, at Adams Funeral Home, 502 Douglas Ave., Ames, Iowa, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Craig A. Spear was born March 14, 1953, to Wayne and Ethel Jean (Donnelly) Spear in Ames. Craig lived in Ames until 1976, when he moved to Clear Lake. He moved back to Ames for two years, 1997 to 1999, and then moved back to Clear Lake. 

He was a member of the Clear Lake Lions Club and enjoyed traveling.

Craig is survived by his parents, Wayne and Ethel Spear, of Ames; and his sister, Pamela V. Spear, of Jacksonville, Fla.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta J. McEwin; his aunt, Virginia Stickley; and two uncles, Kenneth Spear and Gerald Spear.
