CLHS Competition Squad competes

The Clear Lake Competition Cheerleading squad competed in Des Moines on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Iowa Cheerleading Championships.  The team competed in the 3A Cheer and Dance division against 22 other squads from across the state.  Routines were judged on choreography, execution of jumps, stunts and tumbling.  

The Clear Lake squad placed third in the 3A division.  Team members include front row (L-R):  Leah Becker, Lauren Hewitt, Mindy Allenstein, Peyton Huey, Aspen Curtis, Chelsey McCarthy.  Back row (L-R):  Ali Witt, Breanna Furst, Morgan Sacia, Marissa Olk, Sabrina Brakke, Lauren Hanson, Brooke Keith, Alanna Monson, Erin Marshall.  Not available for the photo was Ellie Tindall and Maddy Hartnett.  The team is coached by Nicole Sorensen and Holly Cooke.
