Three Lion runners earn all-conference honors
CL boys finish fourth in NCC race
Clear Lake placed two runners on the podium and finished fourth in the boys race at the North Central Conference Cross Country Meet held in Humboldt Tuesday, Oct. 14.
Ryan Faught and Tanner Storbeck both ran strong races, finishing fifth and eighth respectively in the field of 55. Faught’s fifth place finish was in 18:06 and Storbeck ran an 18:20.
“Both Ryan and Tanner have been such great leaders, this honor is much deserved,” said Coach Nick DiMarco.
Spencer Orr was a top 20 finisher in 19th place in a time of 19:07. Kaleb Froiland finished 29th in 19:39, Sam Pedelty was 32nd in 19:49, Sam Jones 34th 20:00 and Alex Enabnit 39th in 20:24.
The Clear Lake girls team placed eighth in the NCC field.
Gretchen Jones earned All-Conference honors by placing seventh in a time of 16:51. - Read More Via e-Edition
