Lovin’ the classics

 The Clear Lake Auto Social Society (C.L.A.S.S.) hosted its annual Car Cruise and Show Aug. 1-2 throughout the town.

 The event has become one of Clear Lake’s biggest, filling hotel rooms months in advance and bringing thousands to the community for a weekend full of classic cars and classic music.

This years’ event featured 973 cars taking part in a cruise around Clear Lake Friday night, followed by a dance at the Surf Ballroom.

Saturday, 589 cars took part in a show which filled the dowtown streets from the lake to 8th Street.
