Clear Lake well represented on NCC All-Conference and Class 3A All-District teams

Clear Lake is well represented on the All North Central Conference and Class 3A All-District baseball teams announced this week.

 The Lions, who finished as runner-up in the NCC with a 15-3 record (30-5 overall), landed four players on the First Team All-NCC list.
 Brock Adams was a unanimous choice as a First Team pitcher, while Pete Swenson was selected as an infielder and Mitch Keeran and Devin Uhlenhopp were both named First Team outfielders.

 Adams, a junior, compiled a 7-3 record on the mound. He had an ERA of 1.52 while pitching 55 and one-third innings.
Swenson batted .429 through 33 games. He smacked four home runs and 17 doubles, yielding 38 RBIs. His slugging percentage of .705 topped the team.
Keeran batted .398, with an on-base percentage of .527 and slugging percentage of .563. His line included 11 doubles and two home runs in 35 games played. He finished the season with 30 RBIs.
Swenson and Keeran were both named to the First Team for the Class 3A Central District, while Adams and Brandon Tofte were Second Team All-District picks. Tofte, a junior, had a 6-1 record on the mound for the Lions with an ERA of 1.48. Tofte was also a Second Team All-NCC selection.
Devin Uhlenhopp was also a First Team All-NCC selection as an outfielder. The junior played in 34 games and had a batting average of .356. He was error-free in the Lion outfield.
In addition to Brandon Tofte, Second Team All-NCC selections included catcher Rowdy Yates. The junior had a fielding percentage of .987, committing just two errors in 33 games played. At the plate, he batted .253 and had a slugging percentage of .319.
Sophomore Parker Truesdell was named to the All-NCC Third Team. Truesdell averaged .351 with a slugging percentage of .429. In the outfield, he committed just one error in 30 games played for a fielding percentage of .957.
