Lois E. Reynolds

 Lois E. Reynolds, of Chandler, Ariz., passed away peacefully on May 21, 2014 at the age of 89. Graveside services for Lois will be held at 12 p.m., July 1, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, with Rev. Dennis Ganz officiating. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

  Lois was born July 16, 1924 to Elmer and Martha (Thompson) Moffett in Clear Lake. She grew up in Clear Lake and graduated with the class of 1943. She married Robert E. Reynolds in August of 1946 and to this union two children were born, David D. Reynolds, of Minneapolis, Minn., and Laurie Sherwood, of Chandler, Ariz. They moved to Minneapolis so their daughter could go to deaf school. After many years in Minneapolis, they moved back to Clear Lake. They enjoyed spending their winters in Florida, where they were avid fishermen. A few years after her husband’s death, Lois went to live with her daughter in Chandler.
She is survived by her son, David, and his wife, Bonnie, and their children, Ben and Lindsey, of Minneapolis; daughter, Laurie, her husband, Robert Sherwood, and their son, Renny, of Chandler; a brother, Dean E. Moffett, and his wife, Virginia, of Clear Lake; and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
