Residents encouraged to give input about sidewalks

 The City of Clear Lake is in the process of developing a Sidewalk Strategic Plan. The purpose of the Sidewalk Strategic Plan is to develop a plan to aid the city in prioritizing sidewalk improvement projects within the community which will provide guidance for replacement of deficient sidewalk segments and construction of new sidewalks.

 The goal of the Sidewalk Strategic Plan is to ensure maximum value for pedestrian facility investments made by the City, explained City Administrator Scott Flory.
  The public is encouraged to attend any Public Input Meeting. All will start at 6:30 p.m. and are anticipated to last approximately 90 minutes. One meeting will be held in each of the City’s three wards and a fourth meeting will be held for the community at large.
The dates and locations of the Public Input Meetings are as follows:
•Ward 1 – March 25, – Zion Lutheran Church, 112 N. 4th St.
•Ward 2 -  March 27, – Lakeview Room, City Park Bandshell.
•Ward 3 -  April 1, – Church of Christ, 2010 14th Ave. N.
•At Large -  April 3, 2014 – Lakeview Room, City Park Bandshell.
