Reporter Publisher inducted into industry’s Heritage Club

Clear Lake Mirror-Reporter Owner/Publisher Mike Finnegan was honored with a plaque of recognition at the annual Iowa Newspaper Association convention held in Des Moines this past week.  

Finnegan became a member of the Iowa Newspaper Foundation Heritage Club based on his monetary contributions to the foundation over a past number of years.  A plaque identical to the one Finnegan is holding in this photo will now hang on display in the INF Heritage Conference Room at the INA headquarters in Des Moines.  The Iowa Newspaper Foundation, founded in 1984, is a partnership of all of the more than 300 daily and weekly newspapers throughout the state of Iowa.  The mission of the INF is to “champion and improve the quality and future of Iowa’s newspaper enterprises and the communities they serve.”
