Palmer resigns as CLAC director

Clear Lake Arts Center Director Amy Palmer has submitted her resignation to the CLAC Board of Directors.

In a notice sent to CLAC members, Palmer said she is stepping down after two and one-half years on the job to spend

more time with her family.  She will continue working until Christmas and will soon be transitioning the Center’s leadership to Paula Hanus, of Clear Lake.  Hanus has been selected by the CLAC Board to serve as interim director.

“I have learned and received much by working alongside so many creative people,” said Palmer.  “I thank you all for the support you’ve shown me and for the support of this important organization that brings creativity to life.”
