Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce announces Ignite Campaign co-chairmen

The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that Casey and Hunter Callanan and Mark and Kristin Ebeling have agreed to co-chair the “IGNITE Clear Lake Campaign.”  The community-wide project is in the initial stages of raising money to secure the annual fireworks display, which is free for all to view each year.

“My wife and I have been fortunate to grow up in Clear Lake and be part of this age-old tradition,’ said Casey.  “We believe very strongly in this event and wanted to lend our financial and our volunteer support in promoting its cause.  We want to ensure that future generations will be able to experience this

wonderful show just as we have. A select few have been doing the heavy lifting financially, and its now time for others to step up and pay for it forward. We hope people in the community will feel the same way and support the cause in any way possible.”

Mark added, “The Fourth of July fireworks have been a tradition in our families for many generations.  It is always the perfect ending to a great day of celebrating and spending time with family and friends that come to Clear Lake from all parts of the country.  As we begin making new traditions and memories with our own daughters during the fireworks, we truly understand the importance of this event for both families and our great community.  We are excited about the opportunity to help ensure that this long-standing tradition continues for generations.”

Chamber Director Tim Coffey stated that more information will be forthcoming from the Chamber on the campaign as it progresses.
