Pitzen, Loux and Bartlett earn All-North Central Conference honors

 

Three Clear Lake softball players have received All-North Central Conference recognition.

Senior Kaitlyn Pitzen was a First Team All-NCC selection as an infielder.  Pitzen played in 27 games during the season and compiled a .410 batting average.  Her 34 hits included three doubles and 10 RBIs.  She had an on-base percentage of .424 and a slugging percentage of .446.

Senior Megan Loux was named to the All-NCC Second Team as an outfielder.  Loux played in 25 games and batted .434.  Her 36 hits during the season included five doubles, two triples and a home run.  She collected 19 RBIs.  Her on-base percentage was .466 and slugging percentage was .602.

Hannah Bartlett was a Third Team choice as an all-around performer.  The senior batted .381 in 25 games.  Her totals included seven doubles and 14 RBIs.  Her on-base percentage was .422 and slugging percentage was .464.

The Clear Lake softball team finished the season with a 10-18 record.
