Piscopo named new legal counsel for Sanitary District
The Clear Lake Sanitary District has announced that Richard S. Piscopo has been retained as its new legal counsel. Piscopo will provide legal opinions and advice on Federal, State and Municipal matters as they pertain to the operations of the Clear Lake facility.
“I am quite honored to be a part of such an essential organization as the Clear Lake Sanitary District,” said Piscopo. “The facility tends to go unnoticed on the south side of the town, but it is truly state of the art and has served as a model for sanitary districts around the country as well as around the world. I am anxious to assist in any way possible.”
Piscopo will continue as a managing partner in the Yunek Law Firm in Mason City, Iowa which also provides legal services in the areas of personal injury, family law and criminal defense. Piscopo has been a practicing attorney for 21 years and is licensed in both California and Iowa. He lives in Clear Lake with his two sons, Anthony and Nick.
Piscopo replaces Doug Grabinski as the Sanitary District’s attorney.
