Fischels leads girls to conference title

Malorie Fischels led the Clear Lake girls to a North Central Conference Tournament title Monday in Webster City.   Fischels captured the individual title, shooting an 83. 

“This is the biggest meet of the year to date,” said Clear Lake Coach Fred Wieck.  “We are very excited to win another conference title.”

Two other Lions  finished in the top 10.  Paige Backhaus was fourth, shooting 90, and Megan Loux tied for seventh with a 97.  Hailey Horner rounded out the Lions’ score with a 106.  

The Lions can finish off the dual meet conference title with a win over Eagle Grove on Tuesday.  Results of that matchup were not available at presstime. - Read More Via e-Edition
