A good walk
An estimated $129,173 was raised by walkers in Clear Lake and Fort Dodge for Sunday’s Opportunity Village Benefit Walk. The goal for the event was $150,000, however Village officials noted the actual amount
raised often goes up as donations continue to come in. Lauren Maertens and family took top honors again this year for highest amount raised, $10,710. The top Village team was “Kim’s Crusaders,” which raised $35,952.
