Fischels leads CL girls

Malorie Fischels earned medalist honors and led the Clear Lake girls golf team to a season-opening victory over Clarion-Goldfield and 

Webster City Tuesday, April 16.  The Lions shot a 188 to easily outdistance C-G with 223 and the Lynx with 258.

Fischels, a senior, fired a round of 43 to pace the Lions.  Megan Loux finished with a 47 and Paige Backhaus and Hailey Horner each shot 49s.   Erin Gates carded a 50 and Annie Snyder came in with a 58.
