Clear Lake boys dominate IF-A, 9-0

 

The Clear Lake boys tennis team dominated Iowa Falls-Alden 9-0 in the first meet of the year.

Number one singles player Sam Jones topped Caleb Perkins  6-0, 6-2.  Jerry Kockler also swept Brandon Holdgrafer, 6-2, 7-5.

After dropping the first game 0-6, Paul Raner topped Trevor Smith in the following two games, 7-5, 6-4.  It also took Luke Schiller three games, but he got the win over Logan Rieks,  4-6, 6-4, 6- 4.

JJ Theobald shut out Dillon Miller, 6-0, 6-0, as did Andrew Davis over Dylan Johnson.

In doubles, it was Kockler/Raner over Perkins/Holdgrafer, 10-3.  Jones/Schiller defeated Smith/Rieks. 10-2. Theobald/Ian Davis beat Miller/Johnson, 6-0 6-0.

There were no JV matches played against Iowa Falls-Alden.
