Winds whip up a mess

After a relatively storm-free winter season, North Iowa experienced its third straight Monday filled with delays, postponements and cancellations.  Although only two inches of snow fell on Clear Lake Sunday night into Monday, winds 

sustained at 40 to 50 mph created white-out conditions in open areas.  In Ventura, school was cancelled; Clear Lake dismissed its students shortly after noon.  -Reporter photo
