CL girls roll over Bishop Garrigan
Clear Lake’s defense shut down Garrigan in the second half and secured a 43-29 win for the Lions Tuesday night. The victory put the Lions at 5-2 in the North Central Conference.
The Lions trailed 7-6 after one quarter and were down 17-16 at the half before turning their game
around. They outscored the host Bears 13-4 in the third quarter and held them to just eight in the final frame.
Logan Anderson scored a game-high 14 points and Kristen Hewett added 13. Bailey Kibsgaard added six points, Megan Loux five, and Trudy Peterson and Emily Phalen had three and two points respectively.
The Lions were slated to host Eagle Grove on Friday, but the game was cancelled due to the weather.
