Christopher Crotty

    Christopher “Chris” Carl Crotty, 52, of 210 W. 10th Ave. N., Clear Lake, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, Mason City, Iowa.
    Due to his wishes he was cremated and graveside services were held Monday, June 11, at the Clear Lake Cemetery.

    Chris was born Nov. 21, 1959 in Waukegan, Ill. the son of Carl L. and Catherine (Murtaugh) Crotty. 
    He enlisted in the United States Army. After the service he worked as a cook in restaurants in the Clear Lake area. Chris’ greatest joy in life was spending time with his son, Dylan.
    Chris is survived by his father Carl (Pat) Crotty, Charles City, Iowa; son, Dylon L. Crotty, Clear Lake; significant other, Jennifer Casey, Clear Lake; two brothers, Lenny Servidio and Victor Crotty, both of Mason City; aunt, Dorothy Wilson, Hampton, Iowa and numerous cousins. 
    He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Crotty.
    Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of services.
