GHV to present “Meet the Creeps” Nov. 6-7
The Garner-Hayfield-Ventura
Drama Department will be perform-
ing this year’s fall play, “Meet the
Creeps,” by Tim Kelley, at 7 p.m. on
Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov.
7, in the GHV High School audito-
rium.
If you love The Addams Fam-
ily, you’ll love the Creeps! They’re
a loony, lovable household in a di-
lapidated mansion on Pilgrim Road.
There’s Sinbad, head of the bunch,
his beloved wife, Tarantula, and Sally, operator and Scooter, a neighbor kid
their teenage niece. Lullaby Jones is
their maid, and their butler resembles
a billy goat. Unfortunately for the
Creeps, Flora Limetree, a local soci-
ety dragon, hates them. Each year

Sinbad’s grandmother who is raising
crocodiles in the dungeon! But wait,
there’s more, there’s a talking clock, a Alex Stromer, as Bubba; Colton Raw,
ghostly portrait, an ancient telephone
who turns the plot inside out and
back again. Eventually the Creeps
are back where they belong and Pil-
grim Road becomes truly infamous
thanks to them. This play will be a
lot of fun for the whole family.
