Three area athletes compete for NIACC at Grand View Relays

 

The NIACC men’s and women’s track teams opened their outdoor season on Saturday, March 23, at the Grand View Relays. 

Three former Clear Lake High School athletes are competing for NIACC this season and ran at the Grand View Relays. Nicholas DiMarco ran the 10,000, while Stephanie Faught ran the 1,500 and Rebecca Baker competed in the 5,000.  Faught also ran the anchor leg of the 4x400 relay.

The men picked up three first place finishes at the Grand View Viking Relays.  The women captured one first place finish.

The NIACC men are coming off an indoor season where they recorded three top 10 finishes at the NJCAA national indoor meet.  The NIACC women received one top 10 finish at the national indoor meet.

The NIACC track and field team returns to action Saturday, March 30, at the Central College Invitational in Pella, Iowa.
