Rollover sends driver to hospital

Tuesday morning, April 1, about 7:02 a.m. Cerro Gordo County deputies responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries at 242nd Street and Balsam Avenue, Ventura. Korey Zwiefel, 44, of Ventura, was driving southbound in a 1995 Chevrolet pickup when he lost control. The vehicle left the

 roadway, entered the east ditch and struck the culvert and road embankment causing it to flip upside down. Zwiefel was transported to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa by Garner Ambulance Service. He was still being evaluated at presstime. The accident is still under investigation.-Submitted photo.
