Richard Goscinski

Richard William Goscinski, 39, of Clear Lake, died suddenly from a truck accident on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at Agape Christian Family Church, Clear Lake, with Pastor David and Kris Toyne officiating.  Family suggests memorials to Richard William Goscinski memorial fund.  

As in life, Richard gave, and after his death he participated in Iowa Donor to help others.

Richard was born March 1, 1975, in Salida, Colo., the son of Richard and Judy Goscinski.  He moved with his family to Iowa and graduated from Newell-Fonda High School in 1994.

He worked construction and various elevator jobs. He married Tami Davison on Oct. 19, 2007, in Mason City, Iowa.  He worked for Yohn Ready Mix, which he thoroughly enjoyed, as his father was also a truck driver. 

Richard enjoyed racing in the Novice Hornet Class and his car was 94G black and green.  Richard enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, growing roses, helping his wife Tami in the garden, Harley Davidson, playing Wii with his girls, attending North Iowa Bulls games, watching the Denver Broncos and playing jokes. 

His greatest joy was being with his family, decorating gingerbread houses with his mother-in-law and doing anything for his family.  

He was a member of Agape Christian Family Church, Clear Lake.

Richard is survived by his wife, Tami Goscinski, Clear Lake; three daughters, McKenzie Goscinski, Alexis Pralle and Tonisha Pralle, Clear Lake; mother, Judy Goscinski, Newell, Iowa; mother and father-in-law, Pat and Gary Davison, Clear Lake; and several brothers and sisters.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; and a sister, Tammy Goscinski.  

 

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
