Results for weekend bicycle races

The annual Bicycle, Blues and BBQ event was held on Friday-Sunday, July 13-15, in Clear Lake.

Three bike races were held in conjunction with the weekend.  On Saturday at 7:30 a.m. the BBQ Omnium race kicked off with a seven mile time trial starting at Lions Field on North 8th St.  All eyes were on the 

Criterium event, as this fast bike race began at City Park and ran from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. through the streets of downtown Clear Lake.  Rounding out the weekend was Sunday’s road race, beginning at 10 a.m. from Tourist Park.  The race was a point-to-point route running through the North Iowa countryside.

Individual Time Trial
