Public invited to meet new Chamber leader

    The public is invited to meet the new executive director of the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Tim Coffey, at a Meet & Greet scheduled for 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at the Clear Lake Arts Center.

    Coffey comes to Clear Lake after serving as executive director for the Chamber of Commerce in Washington, Iowa.  From 1996 through 2001, Coffey was the executive director of the Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa Foundation.  In 2001, he started his own fundraising consulting firm in Washington, Iowa, serving rural clients.
    He began his new duties in Clear Lake on Monday.
