At approximately 2:50 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, the Clear Lake Police responded to 1010 Village Road in Clear Lake, after receiving a call from a 32-year old female who had been assaulted physically by her boyfriend and then threatened with a knife.

When officers arrived they found the victim to be suffering from non-life threatening injuries. She was not transported to the hospital. A knife was taken as evidence at the scene.

Prior to the arrival of the officers the male suspect fled on foot. Officers searched the surrounding neighborhood for the suspect without success.
