Oak Hills hold Junior Open Golf Tournament

 Oak Hills Golf Course, Clear Lake, held a Junior Open Golf Tournament on Tuesday, Aug. 12. Thirty young golfers participated in the nine hole event.
 Results of the tournament are as follows:

 •Girls 10 and Under Division: First Place - Rebecca DeLong, Clear Lake, (43); Second Place - Meghan DeLong, Clear Lake, (52); Third Place, Lauren Nuss, New Hampton, (73).
 •Girls 11-13 Division: First Place - Morgan Nuss, New Hampton, (32); Second Place - Allison Nuss, New Hampton, (39); Third Place - Ashley DeLong, Clear Lake, 43.
 •Boys 8 and Under: First Place - Taylor Plagge, Clear Lake, (50); Second Place, Gavin Anderson, Clear Lake, (51); Third Place, Isaac Houdek, Charles City (56).
 •Boys 9-10 Division: First Place - Isaac Bruns, Clear Lake, (43); Second Place - Jackson Houdek, Charles City, (45); Third Place - Kale Hobart, Clear Lake, (49).
 •Boys 11-12 Division: First Place - Paul Bruns, Clear Lake, (36); Second Place - Eric Ritter, Clear Lake, (38); Third Place - Skylar Houdek, Charles City, (40).
 •Boys 13-14 Division: First Place - Will Frazier, Apple Valley, Minn., (30); Second Place - Jake Duren, Osage, (54); Third Place - Jeff Morische, Osage, (62).
 •Boys 15-17 Division: First Place - Lucas Lang, Rockwell, Iowa, (33). “A big thank you to all participants, score keepers, parents and especially to Kim and Sue Pleggenkuhle, for their continued sponsorship of the event,” said Tom Sherman, of Oak Hills Golf Course.
