More charges filed against CL man following crime spree
A Clear Lake man has been charged with several crimes reported in the Clear Lake area over the past few months.
On Nov. 20, as a result of several ongoing investigations, additional charges were filed by the Clear Lake Police Department against Michael Dean Wilson .
Wilson was charged with the burglary of Lakeside Pit Stop in Clear Lake, reported on Aug. 15, 2014. During the burglary, an ATM machine was taken from
the business, along with cash inside the ATM. Wilson was charged with Burglary in the Third Degree, Theft in the Second Degree and Criminal Mischief.
Wilson was charged with the Joint Criminal Conduct Burglary Third Degree, Joint Criminal Conduct Theft Second Degree and Joint Criminal Mischief Second Degree in connection to the reported burglary at Rumorz Bar in Clear Lake on Oct. 24, 2014. During the burglary, the ATM inside the business was cut open and the cash was removed.
Wilson was also charged with two counts of possession of stolen property/theft. A reported stolen dirt bike motorcycle was located on Wilson’s property. Reported stolen tools were also located.
Wilson is currently being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on multiple other charges ranging from burglary to arson.
Wilson was out of prison on parole when the above mentioned crimes were committed.
