Mildred Anderson

 

Mildred Merlea Anderson, 99 years, was born in Algona, Iowa, Jan. 13, 1913 and passed away surrounded by family at her winter home in Bradenton, Fla., on Dec. 25, 2012.  She was 19 days short of her 100th birthday.

  She was a longtime resident of Clear Lake, Iowa, and recently had been living with her daughter and family in Urbandale, Iowa, spending summers in Clear Lake at her cottage on Grandview Point.

  At her request the body was cremated and there will be no visitation or services.  A private family burial at Clear Lake Cemetery will be held at a later time.

  She was preceeded in death by her parents, Louis and Ethel Kutschara, and husbands, Oscar Amundson and L.J. Anderson.

  Survivors include her daughter, Merlea Schultz, and her husband, Terry, of Urbandale, Iowa; granddaughter, Tami Perkins of Bradenton, Fla.; and grandson, Todd Anderson, of DeSoto, Iowa.  Great-grandchildren are Dominick and KaCee Perkins of Bradenton, and Rhiannon and Alexzander Anderson of DeSoto.
