Mason City tops Clear Lake in tennis action

Mason City edged Clear Lake, 5-4, in the first tennis meet of the season for the Lions, played Monday, April 6, at Mason City.

The Lions split individual matches against the Mohawks, 3-3.  Clear Lake’s top three players, Sam Jones, Andrew Davis and Ben Mason, each picked up wins.  In doubles play, Jones and Davis teamed for a victory, but the Lions dropped the other two doubles matches.
