Lady Vikes to focus on drive and commitment for 2011 season
Drive and commitment to improve is the Ventura Lady Vikes’ strongest assets as they head into the 2011 season.
“We know that it takes hard work everyday to improve skills, endurance and attitude, and as a team, we’re ready to put in the time to get
better,” said second year Head Coach Abby Roenfanz.
The 2011 squad returns only two letterwinners from last season, senior Sebelia Markle and sophomore Emily Mathews. Markle will be the team’s setter this year, while Mathews is a middle hitter. Mathews led the team last year at the net.
