Jane Anne Wood

Jane Anne (Seney) Wood, 73, passed away Sept. 4, 2024 from a short illness. Ms. Wood was born Oct. 4, 1950 to Ray and Esther Seney of Mason City. She is survived by her twin brother, Jim Seney, of West Des Moines and brother, Ken (Sherrie) Seney of Elkader; along with her daughter, Stephaine (John) Titus of Urbandale, son, William J. Wood Jr. of Independence, Mo.; four grandchildren, Tori Titus of Urbandale, Brady Wood and Lillian Wood of Independence, and William J. Wood III of Des Moines. 

Ms. Wood was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Rick Seney; and husband and best friend, William J. Wood Sr.

  Ms. Wood was a retail manager at The Children’s Shop, Burlington Coat Factory, Stein Mart and retired from Actions Accent. She always loved helping people.

Ms. Wood will be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at a later date at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.

She was an animal lover and donations can be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa or the Special Olympics of Iowa.
