Eagles hard at work on a lake home
Much to the delight of local nature enthusiasts, a pair of mature bald eagles have set up housekeeping at Clear Lake.
America’s official national emblem, the majestic birds are currently finishing nest construction in a cottonwood treeline located south of the lake. The structure can be easily viewed from the roadway and is located about one-half mile west of the Clear Lake Sanitary District office and 465 yards south of the 235th St. blacktop.
Don’t forget the binoculars.
