Henrietta Muth

Henrietta Fern Muth, 82, of Rockwell, Iowa, formerly of Clear Lake, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Rockwell Nursing Home.   Funeral services were held on Monday, March 30, 2015, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, Mason City, with pastor Sid Bohls, of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mason City, officiating. A private interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, at a later date.

Henrietta was born on Aug. 5, 1932, to Harold and Lois (Millard) Long. She graduated from Rockwell High School and later attended Wartburg College. Henrietta was united in marriage to Orville H. Muth on Aug. 10, 1952.

She worked in the banking industry for 25 years before her retirement in 1994. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, Wa Tan Ye Club, and she was a Lioness. 

Henrietta is survived by her husband of 62 years, Orville;  three children, David (Donna) Muth, of McCallsburg, Iowa, Dale (Mary) Muth, of Mason City, and Kathryn (Kevin) Cheney, of Mason City; five grandchildren, Brian, Sheri, Matthew, Jacinda, and Nicole; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
