Graduation Day
One hundred twenty-four seniors received their diplomas from Clear Lake High School during commencement ceremonies held Sunday afternoon.
Seniors Anne Tesar and Kelli Gapinski were chosen to deliver messages to their classmates. Tesar, who
served as Student Council president, said she saw the class grow closer in its final year at the school. Gapinski led the seniors in a V-I-C-T-O-R-Y chant, encouraging them to go out and make the world a better place.
Tesar’s father, Mark, presented diplomas to his daughter and the rest of the Class of 2013. Superintendent Anita Micich and Principal Chris Murphy congratulated the students as they exited the stage.
Two members of the Class of 2013 were remembered with flowers and caps on the stage. Jerrad Ramon died in July 2011; Jesse Richardson died in February 2012.
