GHV boys win own meet by a landslide

Victory was sweet for the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura boys track team as they ran their victory lap Monday night, April 21, after winning their own track meet by a land slide.  The Cardinals claimed the eight-team title with 144.50 points.  Second place went to Clarion-Goldfield with 119 points.

“It’s great to see our guys score two places in individual events,” said Coach Kelsey Steffens.  “They should be very proud of their first place finish.”

Nic Tusha collected two medals in the field events.  He was second in the shot put with a throw of 44’5.50” and he was third in the discus with a toss of - Read More Via e-Edition
