Fire closes Lake restaurant temporarily
A small electrical fire has closed the Anchor Inn, on South Shore Drive, temporarily. The Clear Lake Fire Department responded Thursday afternoon, June 5, to a fire at the local restaurant. Restaurant personnel reported they had been
working with a company on electrical issues when the fire started in the ceiling of the kitchen.
No one was injured in the fire, which occurred just at the start of the business’s evening shift. The restaurant will remain closed until its insurance company visits the site, repairs are made and it passes inspection from the county health department.
