Enjoying winter

If you can’t beat it, you might as well enjoy it!  A good crowd ventured out on Clear Lake Saturday to learn how to cross country ski.  Members of the North Iowa Nordic group helped those of all ages learn about the equipment and 

techniques to give cross country skiing a try.  Wayne’s Ski & Cycle provided skis and a trail was groomed on the lakeshore for skiing ease.-Reporter photo by Chris Barragy.
