Donald L. Miller, 69, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital from a long illness.   A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Cedar Memorial Park Westside Chapel.

Donald Leroy Miller was born on Oct. 10, 1943 to Leroy W. and Florence Venchuk Miller in Mason City, Iowa.  

Don was a Past Worthy President and 40-year member of Eagles Club Aerie 2272.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Rebecca (Jesse) Gearheart, Rod (Crystal) Miller, Shannon Miller, Steve (Kathy) Engstrom, and Scott (Amy) Engstrom; numerous grandchildren; and two sisters, Sue (Terry) Stallman and Sharon (Allan) Petersen.

Don was preceded in death by his parents.
