Diane L. Buehler

Diane L. Buehler, 62, of Clear Lake, passed away Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at Muse Norris Hospice, Mason City,  Iowa, surrounded by her family.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at First United Methodist Church, 404 Maple Street, Thornton, Iowa, with the Rev. Crystal Oberheu officiating.  Cremation has taken place.

Diane Lynn Buehler was born July 25, 1952, at Mason City, a daughter of Marius and Mavis (Johnson) Floy.  She was united in marriage to Brian J. Buehler on Oct. 5, 1989, at Las Vegas, Nev.

Diane attended Thornton schools, graduating from Thornton High School. She attended Hamilton Business College, Mason City and X-ray Technician schooling at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, Iowa.

She worked as a bookkeeper for several area businesses.

Diane enjoyed fishing, photography, and traveling the U.S. with her husband in his semi-truck.

She is survived by her husband, Brian, Clear Lake; parents, Marius and Mavis Floy, Thornton; three sisters, Terry (Jim) Dorenkamp, Thornton, Kim (Dwight) Olson, Thompson, Iowa, Stacey (Kyle) Ritter, Belmond, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; step-daughters, Kelly (Al) Dickes, Ventura, Kristi (Kevin) Wilcke, Clear Lake; step-grandchildren, Colby, Ryan, Brice, Logan and Shelby.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, two uncles and an aunt.

Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, Mason City, was in charge of arrangements.
