Dance team competes at MA Dance Camp

The Clear Lake High School Dance Team attended the MA Dance Camp at the Polk County Convention Center in Des Moines July 14-16.  Team members attended technique class, team building activities and learned a variety of dance routines. 
    During class, team members where selected for awards.  Alexis Atkinson, Kimi Green, Megan Kopriva and Maddy Harnett

received the Rising Star Award.  Libby Hewitt, Katie Monson, Mickey O’Brien, Emma Peterson, Sierra Gustafson, Megan Kopriva, Maddie Hess, Lauren Hewitt, Peyton Huey, Leah Becker and Victoria Culliton earned All-Star Awards, which qualified them to perform at the Capital One Bowl, AT&T Cotton Bowl & The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Libby Hewitt and Mickey O’Brien were selected as Honor Roll winners, which is the top individual award.
